Baby-Book Fodder

When my son likes something, he sleeps with it under his pillow. Being in a household devoid of tooth fairy mythology, I have no idea how he came by this behavior. When an issue of National Geographic Kids came with a tiger on the cover? Under the pillow. Just couldn’t stop playing with one of his dinosaurs one day? Under the pillow. Tonight? He’s got a coupon which he clipped himself. It’s a $5 rebate for popcorn and How To Train Your Dragon. Which he has never seen. But he likes the picture. So he clipped it. Time for bed rolled around and he asked to sleep with it under his pillow. A coupon. That he clipped from the stack of huge coupon books we get every other day for the grocers in the area.

Sigh.

Remind me to put this in his baby book.
